I would like to tell you that I understood the tourists' reviews only after I arrived here. But let me explain how this resort works. First of all, you need to know that it is addressed especially to the hippie generation from Germany in the 70s. That is why the average age of the tourists is an advanced one. The air of the Cold War reigns in the hotel, so that if the owner were to renovate in the style of the 21st century, he would lose the vast majority of customers. They would not appreciate the new wave equipment, and they would not feel comfortable in a smart design arrangement... I admit that I was initially disappointed. I'm not young but not old either, so I felt like a kid here... All this feeling was immediately covered by the joy of discovering the special attention that the staff gives to all customers. At "all inclusive" you won't miss anything. There is no waste, but ask, and you will receive whatever you need to feel good. I wanted a better wine, I asked for and received an excellent one. I asked for the 007-style vodka Martini, and I got the best cocktail I've ever had. You can also ask for water for the room, fruits, sweets and much more. The food is as good as at Seaside Palm Beach from the same group, although Sandy has only four stars. And everywhere is very clean and smells so good. Both I and my wife thank the hosts and promise to come back.

We stayed at Seaside Sandy Beach last November and loved it so much that we decided to return last month. From the reception to the restaurant, the staff is exceptionally nice and friendly. The pool area is stunning, and the location is unbeatable! As with our first visit, we opted for the half-board option because we enjoyed the food so much. They offer a great selection of dishes! In short, everything about our stay was wonderful. We are looking forward to going again!

Although you never can look behind the curtain: A great service TEAM, always very attentive, fast and polite. That for sure also because there are employees with a central function, that LIVE this function and accordingly organize and direct the service in an exemplary way. This includes the general manager of the hotel herself, Mrs Karg, present every day at least at breakfast. But also e. g. Miss Pacheco ("Carolina"), that has practically welcomed personally every guest and introduced them to their dinner with authentic local charm. And thus we come to the food: The offer is simply great. There is something for everybody. Having 28 degrees in the last week of the year, you might not have appetite for hot meals. And then you find a great variation of salads with meat and fish and cheese and jamón and fruit and postres .... Todo veramente muy rico. The pool bar team also cannot be forgotten: Always attentive and ready for a chat or joke on the spot. That makes a deserved beer pint at 28 degrees to fun. The more so with good live music offers. Talking of the events: the great seasons decorations for Xmas and new years eve - many thanks for the result and the preparations that these must have costed

I loved the stunning ocean view from the room and the lush, well-maintained gardens. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay very comfortable. The pool area was fantastic, with plenty of loungers and a clean, inviting pool. The hotel’s location is perfect, just a short walk from the beach and close to many restaurants and shops.

the different kind of food every night. I was really surprised although I have very sensitive stomach whatever I ate, it didn’t hurt and I didn’t had my intolerance episodes. Also the pool was nice, the water was warm enough.

The hotel communicated with me within 24 hours of booking, kept in touch and responded promptly to requests. I was able to arrange an airport transfer and as the hotel recognised that we were arriving on a late flight after the restaurant had closed, they also had arranged for food to be available in the room. By far the best level of service I have received in a hotel anywhere. We are regular travellers to Gran Canaria and other 5 star hotels on the island would do well to see how customer service works here. All areas were well managed and staff were pleasant, friendly and happy to assist. Food at this hotel is to be commended for both quality and availability and in particular the freshness and variety of bakery products.

Staff at Sandy Beach are fantastic, always helpful and friendly. Food is super delicious (we had half board), I was impressed by the quality of everything they offered for breakfast and dinner. One tip: do not come to this hotel if you're on a diet! The food is irresistable.
